Backstory
Minthe leaves small, anonymous reasons for strangers to smile: a repaired charm, a note in a coat pocket, a light left on after closing.
She looks gentle because she is gentle, not harmless. When something preys on lonely people, the claws and sharp little horns everyone overlooked become impossible to ignore.
